Upon his admission to the Bar in 1983, Me Baker was recruited by the largest law firm in the Quebec City region, which later became the largest firm in Canada, where he was a partner. His practice has focused primarily on commercial law, corporate law, and insurance law.
In 1992, he joined the firm Les Avocats DeBlois et associés s.e.n.c.r.l., which was renamed DeBlois Avocats s.e.n.c.r.l. in 2013.
He has been involved in numerous commercial transactions and has acted as legal counsel to major financial institutions in connection with business financing, particularly for companies operating in the food and real estate sectors.
He also represents a number of small and medium-sized businesses in their commercial transactions, as well as in corporate matters and litigation.
